What does the PTA do?

We advocate for the health, education and safety of all students and provide a forum for parent involvement and education. Eccles PTA supports students and teachers through classroom supplements and educational enhancements, family fun nights (Color Dash, Pumpkin Night, Bingo for Books), Jog-a-thon, field trips, Oregon Battle of the Books (OBOB), Scholastic News, yearbooks, assemblies and so much more. Your 2025-2026 PTA Board

Tera Abbott

PRESIDENT
Tera has loads of experience with executive board leadership and event coordination. Her relationships with school staff help us to support teacher and admin needs. She has a son entering Kindergarten and a daughter starting fourth grade.
Laura Equinoa

VICE PRESIDENT
Laura runs the social media for the PTA accounts and supports the event committees. Her daughters are starting first and fourth grade.
Amanda Bryant

SECRETARY
Amanda does the record keeping of meetings and activities, and her crafty/creative skills bring our decorations to peak level. Her son is starting first grade.
Megan Duvall

TREASURER
Megan handles all things money for the PTA. This includes reimbursing teachers for supplies, budgeting for our many community activities and managing our accounting. Her sons are starting first and fourth grade.
Lindsay Pape

VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR
She uses sign-ups and the school community to get the right people in roles to make sure our events are a success. Her son is going into first grade.
Molly Bailey

MARKETING COORDINATOR
Her content creation career brings a vison that makes our communications look sharp. She also gathers photography and builds the annual yearbook. Her son is entering fourth grade.
